Enlisted Force Structure

As enlisted personnel, Airmen of all ranks are charged to uphold professional standards and successfully accomplish their duties. Air Force Instruction 39-2618 defines the enlisted force structure and establishes leadership roles and responsibilities as Airmen climb the enlisted ladder. Regardless of Air Force Specialty Code, being an Airman and knowing what is expected of every rank will set Airmen up for success. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Deana Heitzman/Released)
