Defenders hold military working dog retirement ceremony

The 31st Security Forces Squadron held a military working dog retirement ceremony for Soma, Treesje and Roki Jan. 22, 2016, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. All three dogs received a retirement certificate and were adopted into a new family. Department of Defense MWD’s are trained at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
