173rd Airborne Brigade
U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Brigade paratroopers don the T-11 parachutes, July 27, 2016, prior to executing airborne operations at Aviano Air Base in Italy. Paratroopers regular participate in jumps to ensure all operational training requirements are maintained year round. The 173rd Airborne Brigade from Vicenza, Italy, is the Army Contingency Response Force in Europe. They are capable of projecting forces to conduct a full range of military operations across the United States European, Central and Africa Command areas of responsibility.
