Destinations: Tenerife
Unfortunately, the cable car station, meant to take us to Mount Teide’s peak, was closed due current weather conditions. Our drive wasn’t in vain though, we spent a couple hours exploring Teide National Park, which surrounds Mount Teide. The Mount Teide/Teide National Park area was really interesting because unlike the other locations we visited, its scenery was made up mostly of rocks and shrubs. It was also much colder than the rest of the island because of the elevation, so I suggest bringing a light jacket such as fleece if you decide to visit this location.
