Local Legend

This week’s Local Legend is Gabriella Uschnig, from Austria. Uschnig has worked on base for the 31st Comptroller Squadron for four years. . Her favorite part about working for the U.S Air Force is being in contact with so many people from all different backgrounds. Additionally, Uschnig’s favorite thing about Italy is the Italian culture, their way of life, and the landscape. Her favorite place to visit in Italy is Umbria, however if she could travel anywhere she would travel to Greece. Finally, in her leisure time she likes to relax, read, ski, and walk her dog. She loves to eat pasta and anything that is sweet. Her words of wisdom are: “Enjoy living here, travel, try to connect with locals (for any kind of help and information, but also just for fun) and take advantage of all the culture, history, and beauty you are surrounded by.” It is wonderful having you on the team, Gabriella. We appreciate all that you have done, and all that you will do!
