Aviano CATM Receives New Weapon
Airmen with the 31st Fighter Wing load magazines during a Combat Arms Training and Maintenance class at Aviano Air Base, Italy, July 14, 2020. Aviano received M18 handguns last April and began training at Aviano on June 1, 2020. The modular design of the M18 handgun provides improved ergonomics, target acquisition, reliability and durability in comparison to the M9 Beretta, which was used by the Air Force for over 30 years.
