510th FS, 48th FW conduct FTD at RAF Lakenheath

A C-130 Super Hercules assigned to the 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein, Germany, takes off from Aviano Air Base, Italy, Aug. 24, 2020. The 31st Fighter Wing’s 510th Fighter Squadron will conduct a flying training deployment with the 48th Fighter Wing and allies from the United Kingdom at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Aug. 28 to Sept. 25, 2020. The FTD will allow participants to exercise deployment capabilities, equipment moves and setups, operations from different locations, and coordination with NATO partners.
