Always ready: Wyvern EOD

Senior Airman Tyler McConnell, 31st Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team member, builds a cofferdam for a MK-124 (MOD 0) flare at Aviano Air Base, Italy, March 23, 2021. The flare didn’t function correctly so the EOD members had to detonate it using a thermite and the cofferdam helped concentrate the burn into one area.
