Always ready: Wyvern EOD
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jordan Burger, 31st Civil Engineer Squadron explosive (EOD) ordnance disposal team leader, puts a safety pin on an F-16 Fighting Falcon during a simulated in-flight emergency (IFE) scenario at Aviano Air Base, Italy, March 23, 2021. The pins secure the aircraft and allows the ground crew to unload the ordnance during an IFE. EOD members train twice a week on various topics and dedicate two months out of the year to aircraft training. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Brooke Moeder)
