31 FW command chief Newman takes his final flights

Jamie Newman, 31st Fighter Wing command chief, flew in an F-16 for the first time with U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Jason Bailey, 31st Fighter Wing commander, as the pilot. Newman is the principal advisor to the commander on matters influencing the readiness and professional development of approximately 4,200 active-duty military members, nearly 300 U.S. civilians and 700 Italian civilian employees.
