31 MXS, 52nd MXS conduct CDDAR certification
A U.S. Airman assigned to the 52nd Maintenance Squadron watches over a U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon during an annual Crash, Damaged or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) lift certification at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Aug. 13, 2021. The crash recovery teams recertify annually on the correct procedures of lifting an aircraft during an emergency.
