31 MXS, 52nd MXS conduct CDDAR certification

Jeremy Unterseher, 31st Fighter Wing command chief, watches as a U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon is lifted off the ground during an annual Crash, Damaged or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) lift certification at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Aug. 13, 2021. The 31st FW and 52nd FW, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, participated in CDDAR training to recertify on the correct procedures of lifting an aircraft during an emergency.
