31 Maintenance Group hosts 3rd Quarter RAGE event

U.S. Air Force weapons load crew members assigned to the 555th Aircraft Maintenance Unit carry an AIM-9L/M Sidewinder to an F-16 Fighting Falcon during the 3rd quarter Rapid Aircraft Generation and Employment (RAGE) event at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Oct.7, 2021. The weapons load crews competed head-to-head and were tasked to load an F-16 Fighting Falcon with an inert guided bomb unit-31v3 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), a MK-84 Low Drag and one AIM-9L/M Sidewinder in the shortest amount of time.
