31 LRS loads Romanian air force C-130 for operation Castle Forge

A Romanian air force C-130 is loaded with cargo in support of an exercise under the larger Castle Forge operation at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Oct. 29, 2021. Operation Castle Forge is U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa’s premiere theater-wide Agile Combat Employment exercise, focused on shifting forces and the way they operate in a dynamic theater. The objective of Castle Forge is to provide a partnership-focused environment and raise the U.S. commitment to NATO allies in the Black Sea region.
