31st OSS Airmen train on contingency response procedures
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 31st Operations Support Squadron Airfield Management and Air Traffic Control Tower train at Aviano Air Base, Italy, March 10, 2022. The members trained on airfield management contingency response procedures and used a Phantom AZL-15 lighting kit to simulate landing zones for a variety of aircraft including, C-17 Globemasters and C-130 Hercules. The Phantom AZL-15 lighting kit contains approximately 35 LED lamps that are powered with batteries and can be turned on anytime or set up with remotes.
