31st OSS Airmen train on contingency response procedures

Jeffrey Bliss, 31st OSS airfield operations director of operations, measures distance for lights on the flightline at Aviano Air Base, Italy, March 10, 2022. The members trained on airfield management contingency response procedures and used a Phantom AZL-15 lighting kit to simulate landing zones for C-17 Globemasters and C-130 Hercules. The Phantom AZL-15 lighting kit contains approximately 35 LED lamps that are powered with batteries and can be turned on anytime or set up with remotes.
