The Vicini Americani shield represents the partnerships and collaborations between the Aviano Air Base community local municipalities and organizations for community outreach opportunities. The intent of the VA organization is to create and strengthen connections between Americans and the local Italian communities through volunteer opportunities and social events, while also helping to ease the transition to life overseas.
