Aviano AB post office and emergency responders conduct suspicious package training

A 31st Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal robot approached a simulated suspicious package during an exercise at Aviano Air Base, Italy, July 21, 2022. During this joint exercise, the post office and EOD coordinated with other emergency first responders to properly respond to this simulated threat. Post office personnel first look to identify markers to assess the level of danger, in order to best respond and be prepared for a real situation.
