Aviano Rescue Squadrons train in the High North

A U.S. Air Force HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopter assigned to the 56th Rescue Generation Squadron based out of Aviano Air Base, Italy, releases flares during a combat search and rescue scenario as part of Exercise Cold Response 26 in Norway, March 13, 2026.
