Bringing bags to Bagram: Aviano deploys

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy --  

The 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron assisted in deploying 31st Fighter Wing Airmen and 173rd Airborne Brigade Soldiers from Aviano Air Base, Italy, to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, in late April 2017. They moved a total of 344 passengers and 237 tons of cargo in 10 days. The amount of cargo the 31st LRS processed equaled approximately a third of their total 2016 freight.
