AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The 31st Fighter Wing conducted a week-long readiness inspection July 31 through Aug. 4, 2017, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Inspectors hosted several staged exercise scenarios to test the wing’s readiness and emergency response capabilities. Some scenarios included natural disasters, an airplane crash and active shooters.
