Free CPR and automated external defibrillation training classes are now offered for personnel interested in receiving certification at Aviano Air Base, Italy.

Training includes adult, child and infant CPR certification with AED training. The class also demonstrates proper techniques to save choking victims.

"Even though some military members are not required [to be certified], I still highly encourage all Airmen get certified," said Tech. Sgt. Alina King, 31st Medical Group basic life support program administrator. "I believe that everyone should have the necessary lifesaving skills.

"You never know when you could have to save someone's life," said King. "It's great to know if someone has the knowledge to do just that."
