How do you support the 31st Fighter Wing mission? Monitor the status of the Security System for the Air Force's #1 Protection Level 1 asset as well ensure that we are compliance with Department of Defense, EUCOM and US standards to secure the Air Force's #1 Protection Level 1 asset.

What's one thing you've learned about Italy's history, people and culture? I have learned a lot about how proud Italian nationals are of their rich military culture and history. Also I have seen how most host nation personnel love having us here in their country. If you take time to learn just a little bit of the local language it will open a door into most areas that tourists and military members do not get to see...such as inside wineries established in castles, historic homes that have been up for more than a century, Carbineri and Alpini officers' homes and historic monuments.

What's one advantage of being stationed overseas? You get to interact with other cultures and nationalities; which I greatly enjoy.

What's your favorite European destination and why? Truly do not have a favorite but if I had to pick one it would be the southern Italian coast near Bari.
