A new 31st Security Forces Squadron Pass and Registration office has recently opened at the 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron privately owned vehicle inspection point, enabling customers to get their vehicles inspected and registered in one location.

"This makes things much more convenient for customers," said Senior Airman Teresa Harris, 31st SFS Pass and Registration clerk. "It significantly cuts down on wait times and makes it so customers don't have to go all the way back to the main office to complete their registration."

Customers can now go to the vehicle inspection point, get their car inspected and, if the vehicle passes, register their vehicle. The last year's registration, proof of insurance, identification card and American Forces Italy license are required for new registration. Customers must also pay road taxes for secondary vehicles.

The pass and registration office does a steady business, with an average of more than 20 customers per day, and all seem pleased with the adjustment according to 31st SFS officials.

"We have gotten nothing but good feedback from customers," said Harris. "Everyone is happy to have one less trip to make."
