Airman pronounced dead Published Aug. 5, 2011 By Staff Reports 31st Fighter Wing Public Affairs AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- An Airman assigned to the 31st Fighter Wing was pronounced dead at Pordenone Hospital early this morning, Aug. 5. The cause of death is under investigation. The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin notification has been made. Further information will be released when it is available.
