148 staff sergeants receive E-6 promotion

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- One-hundred-forty-eight staff sergeants assigned to Aviano Air Base, were selected for promotion to technical sergeant June 23.

Please join the 31st Fighter Wing in congratulating Aviano's newest technical sergeant selects during their promotion social scheduled for 3:30 p.m. June 24 at La Bella Vista Club.

Air Force officials selected 8,545 of 34,257 eligible staff sergeants for promotion to technical sergeant for a selection rate of 24.94 percent. Those selected for technical sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence numbers beginning in August 2011.
