Members of the 603rd Air Control Squadron and family members gathered inside the unit's complex on base several times between July 12-23 to welcome home the more than 90 squadron members returning from deployments to Kandahar, Afghanistan, and an undisclosed location Southwest Asia.

The Airmen spent about six months downrange conducting battle management of radio, radar and link support of Combined Forces Air Component commander objectives and supporting ground commander objectives by vectoring aircraft to troops in contact.
