How do you support the 31st Fighter Wing mission?
I make sure our patients are 100 percent ready to deliver combat power and support across the globe by maintaining their health records and making sure our doctors are receiving up-to-date, complete and accurate medical information on every patient.

What's one thing you've learned about Italy's history, people and culture?
I've learned alot about Italy. It is a much different place than the U.S. Italians are a lot more family oriented. Family is very important, and children typically stay at home much longer than back in the United States. They tend to marry later in life and live at home until they find that special person. Also, they seem very social and spend a lot more time with their family and friends.

What's one advantage of being stationed overseas?
The experience! This is a lifetime opportunity that many people never have. I've learned and seen a lot, and have a greater appreciation for how much is out there in this world.

What's your favorite European destination and why?
My favorite destination in Europe are the beaches. Anywhere I am in the world though, the beach has always been my favorite. Europe is especially beautiful. It's different everywhere you go but you always have the sun, water and people.

Airman Twitchell was nominated because she is truly one of Aviano's finest. She is a team player and is always willing to help her fellow Wingman. Her job performance in Outpatient Records is topnotch, and we can always count on her to deliver superior results.
