31st Fighter Wing Annual Award winners

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy --  
Thirteen Aviano men and women were recognized as the top base performers during the 31st Fighter Wing Annual Awards Ceremony at the AlpeAdria restaurant Feb. 26.

With categories ranging from Volunteer of the Year to First Sergeant of the Year, the award ceremonies recognized nominees' involvement in the 31st Fighter Wing mission and the Aviano community.

The annual winners are:

Airman of the Year:
Airman 1st Class Evan D. Albeck, 31st Civil Engineering Squadron

NCO of the Year: 
Tech. Sgt. Marlena A. Blackman, 31st Medical Group

Senior NCO of the Year:
Senior Master Sgt. Gregory J. Fournier, 603rd Air Control Squadron

Company Grade Officer of the Year:
Capt. Ronnie R. Walden, 31st Force Support Squadron

First Sergeant of the Year:
Senior Master Sgt. Robert E. Thompson Jr., 31st Security Forces Squadron

Civilian of the Year (Category 1):
Jeffery Logsdon, 31st Maintenance Squadron

Civilian of the Year (Category 2):
Elizabeth Cass, 31st Medical Operations Squadron

Civilian of the Year (Category 3):
Manuela Solda, 31st Medical Support Squadron

Civilian of the Year (Category 4):
Dawn Dallanegra, 31st Operations Group

Honor Guard (NCO Category):
Staff Sgt. Gary Walls, 31st Maintenance Squadron

Honor Guard (Airman Category):
Airman 1st Class Jarret Hostas, 31st Munitions Squadron

Non-Technical Volunteer of the Year:
