Memorial service set for fallen EOD Airman

A memorial service for Tech. Sgt. Adam K. Ginett will be held here 3 to 4 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Mass Briefing Facility on Area F. He was assigned to the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal flight.

Sergeant Ginett died Jan. 19 near Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device.

The dignified transfer of the fallen Airman took place at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. on Jan. 25. Sergeant Ginett will be laid to rest in Raleigh, N.C.
