Serving as an F-16 pilot and instructor, as well as being responsible for the training, scheduling, and professional development of 12 pilots.

What's one thing you've learned about Italy's history, people and culture?
My wife and I appreciate how hospitable all of our Italian neighbors and friends are--always generous and welcoming.

What's one advantage of being stationed overseas?
We've enjoyed getting to meet so many people from different countries and walks of life.

What's your favorite European destination and why?
We've really liked all of the places we've had a chance to visit, but if we had to pick one area, we'd say anywhere in the Alps. Getting to travel through, walk around, or ski in the mountains here has been incredible.
