How do you support the 31st Fighter Wing mission? By informing wing leadership on all aspects of the 31st FW Weapons Safety program. I also explain and advise wing leadership on information and documentation related to weapons safety. The sole purpose of a weapons safety program is mishap prevention. The goal of weapons mishap prevention is achieved through a number of programs: explosive site planning, exceptions and risk acceptance, mishap investigation and reporting and safety inspection programs. What's one thing you've learned about Italy's history, people and culture? Italy has a family centered culture. Family gatherings around large meals that include regional culinary treats and local wines are special times for friends and family to share. What's one advantage of being stationed overseas? Travel opportunities; Europe is full of history, art and culture waiting to be explored. What's your favorite European destination and why? Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Germany's Bavaria region is a great place to escape to and enjoy the great outdoors. Why I nominated Mr. Mace as one of Aviano's Finest?
