How do you support the 31st Fighter Wing mission?
I support the 31st Fighter Wing mission by delivering and sustaining combat logistics readiness support. I assist in providing logistical support to 5,000 wing members, six geographically separated units and 48 F-16 aircraft valued $800 million. In addition, we directly control stockage/re-supply actions for more than 55,000 items records worth $360 million; expediting parts to meet the mission. 

What's one thing you've learned about Italy's history, people and culture?
The Italian culture has very strong traditional values. 

What's one advantage of being stationed overseas?
One advantage is being able to travel to different countries and experience their culture, traditions and way of life. 

What's your favorite European destination and why?
My favorite destination is right here in Italy, mainly because of its historical musical background. The entire organizational structure that supports music as a profession is extensive here in Italy and extremely active. 

Why I nominated Airman Johnson as one of Aviano's Finest?
Airman 1st Class William Johnson is by far the example of what a professional Airman should be. He is well rounded and is self motivated to become a functional expert in his duty. He has displayed extensive knowledge during internal inspections and has been identified as an "Outstanding Performer" by the inspection team. Furthermore, he has been recognized at USAFE level for an outstanding self aid and buddy care program and has been recognized by the 3rd Air Force vice commander for executing superb performance in his efforts to help the Civic Leader Tour flow smoothly.
