UMUC Europe registration--$100 book award Published Jan. 7, 2009 HEIDELBERG, Germany -- University of Maryland University College Europe announces its early registration for Spring Session 1 from now until January 16. On-site courses begin January 18 and include weekend and weekday classes, as well as the newly added 50/50 hybrid courses -- a format combining 50 percent on-site with 50 percent online instruction. Also this spring, several courses are offered for the first time in the online format to include: Environmental Science Laboratory, Introduction to Homeland Security, Film and American Culture Studies, Writing for Managers, and more. Students can register directly with their local field representative at over 70 sites throughout Europe and the Middle East--now including four sites in Iraq--or, alternately, online using the MyUMUC portal. Moreover, UMUC Europe still has $100 Orkand Family Military Book Awards available for active-duty servicemembers.
