Town Hall meeting

DATE/TIME: 6-8 p.m./ May 29
Doors open at 5:15 p.m. for an information fair

LOCATION: Base theater

HOST: Brig. Gen.  Craig Franklin, 31st Fighter Wing commander

Bring your questions to a Town Hall meeting hosted by General Franklin. This is your opportunity to hear General Franklin answer questions that directly affect our Aviano community.

Before the Town Hall meeting, please check out the information fair with representatives from the chapel, Airmen and Family Readiness, Family Advocacy, Education Development Intervention Services and the Health and Wellness Center.

Have a question, but don't want to ask it in front of an audience? Here are other ways to submit your questions:

- E-mail your questions to commanders.connection@aviano.af.mil before the event. Look for the Commander's Connection link on the base Web site.

- An anonymous-question table will be set up May 27-28 in the BX mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and before the Town Hall meeting. People will be able to write out questions they do not want to personally ask and a Public Affairs representative will ask the general for them. Also, if you have a question of base-wide interest that was not answered during the Town Hall meeting, just drop it off in the box and PA will work to get you an answer.

- Call-in your question at DSN 632-7252 or 043430-7252 during the event. A PA representative will be manning the line.

If you are unable to attend, AFN will be broadcasting the meeting live over the radio. Also, all the questions and answers will be posted to the base Web site at www.aviano.af.mil.

The Child Development Center will extend their hours of operation for the duration of the Town Hall meeting for registered families. Please sign up at the CDC prior to event if you require their services.

For those not registered at the CDC, families may bring their children with them to the town hall meeting.
