More than 2,000 Airmen were treated to Adm. Michael G. Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, at the Chairman's United Service Organizations Holiday tour.

Robin Williams headlined the show making this his fourth USO tour. The show also featured seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, actor-comedian Lewis Black, singer Kid Rock, Miss USA Rachel Smith and Irish tenor Ronan Tynan.

Adm. Mullen welcomed the entertainers coming to support the Airmen and thanked the Airmen for their service.

"You serve here and around the world and your service really does make a difference," said Adm. Mullen.

Mr. Tynan started the show by performing a few songs to include "Amazing Grace." Miss Smith followed by thanking servicemembers and their families for the sacrifices they make for their country everyday, even during the holidays.

Next Mr. Black gave a stand-up act that drew laughter from around the crowd. He even commented on the base and the location in Italy.

"What lottery do you need to win to be stationed here?" Mr. Black said.

Next on stage was Mr. Armstrong.

"We are all so excited to be here," Mr. Armstrong said. "I am personally excited to be here to share my appreciation and not just on behalf of myself, but on behalf of my family, my children, my community and the state of Texas. Thank you all. You're the real heroes."

Mr. Williams followed with an energetic stand-up performance that drew even more laughter. Before introducing Kid Rock, Mr. Williams simply remarked about the Airmen by saying, "You rock!"

Kid Rock played several songs for the crowd and finished the USO show with Mr. Williams singing alongside him.
