Biggest challenge faced so far in your Air Force career: I have always considered challenges to be opportunities. My biggest opportunities were always the tasks immediately before me. So my biggest opportunity now is to tirelessly serve the Airmen of the 31st Fighter Wing and ensure I provide the best advice possible for their welfare to our commander.

Person who has had the biggest impact/effect on your life and why: Tech. Sgt. Aaron Burton. He was the epitome of a professional. He was extremely knowledgeable, caring and firm, and always fair. He taught me how a supervisor was supposed to develop an Airman. Sergeant Burton was promoted to chief master sergeant in about 16 years of service, and was hands down my best supervisor and first mentor.

Work philosophy: Show up to work on time and put in an honest day's work by putting your nose to the grindstone. Get to know our Airmen, give them a stake in the mission, trust them and get out of their way. Make sure our Airmen know they are part of something bigger than themselves and that they are defining a culture of Airmen every day through their actions (both on and off duty). These were just a few of many leadership lessons Sergeant Burton taught me that have continued to serve me and our Air Force well.
