AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Ten vocalists took the stage during the first round of competition in Aviano Idol, Feb. 18, 2016, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Each contestant sang a song of their choice to showcase their vocal talent. Two singers were eliminated by the competition's three judges leaving eight vocalists left to perform in the next round, Feb. 25, 2016. The Aviano Idol winner will be announced and presented a grand prize of $1000 at the end of the fifth round of judging, March 17, 2016.
