Aviano after dark: 31 MDOS emergency medical technicians

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The 31st Medical Operations Squadron's emergency medical technicians are responsible for tending to Team Aviano members in an emergency. Last month they responded to 11 calls, ranging from ground emergencies on the flightline to 911 medical emergencies on base. The 24-hour shift workers train daily to be ready for emergencies anywhere on base.
