AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- This is the first photo story in a series about Aviano Airmen who work at night.

Just because the sun has set doesn't mean Aviano Air Base, Italy, is closed for business. Instead, that's when many 31st Fighter Wing Airmen head to the office. Among these night crawlers are the 31st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron weapons load teams who arm and disarm the base's F-16 Fighting Falcons.
