Runners participate in the Aviano First Sergeant’s Council 5K food run, Oct. 16, 2015 at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Proceeds from the event will support Operation Warmheart, the single largest community outreach program at Aviano, which provides assistance to Airmen and their families year-round. AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The Aviano First Sergeant's Council hosted a 5K food run, Oct. 16, 2015 at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Proceeds from the event will support Operation Warmheart, the single largest community outreach program at Aviano, which provides assistance to Airmen and their families year-round. In addition, the canned goods collected will be used for Thanksgiving holiday baskets.
