Cyber Awareness Month

AIVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The Air Force recognizes October as Cyber Awareness Month to encourage Airmen to stay safe online. Airmen remember these steps to help combat cyber threats:

· Use strong passwords

· Encrypt and sign "For Official Use Only" emails

· Ensure anti-virus and malware software are up to date

· Back-up important files

· Complete annual cyber security training

· Only visit trusted sites
