From bruised ankles to stomach surgery, U.S. Air Force medical moulage teams have the skills to "make-up" injuries for use in training. Using real people or manikins, the teams can apply putty, liquids, powders and props to simulate the look and feel of real internal and external injuries. Doctors can even cut open manikins during surgery to enhance their skills in a safe environment.
