AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron Hazardous Material Supply office receives corrosive and flammable materials in protective shipping barrels almost daily. The Airmen safely store HAZMAT until it is ready to be delivered or picked up by on-base units to be used for base operations. Aviano is not the only customer of the LRS HAZMAT office; some materials are picked up or delivered to Ghedi Air Base, Italy, and Camp Darby, Italy.
