AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Airmen from the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron participated in a monthly prime base engineer emergency force, or Prime BEEF, training exercise, Aug. 25, 2015, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Prime BEEF exercises focus on skills for the benefit of all 31 CES personnel, like driving unique vehicles, damage assessment, tactical convoy operations and land navigation. Additionally, the skills learned allow units to use resources, such as forklifts, instead of relying on another flight to provide assistance.
