AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron petroleum oils and lubricants shop are responsible for receiving, storing and tracking all petroleum products used by government vehicles and aircraft at Aviano Air Base, Italy. They ensure the quality of all fuel by performing a series of tests. Additionally, POL Airmen ensure fuel is delivered to several locations on base.
