AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Aircrew egress systems technicians maintain aircraft egress systems to ensure pilots can safely exit their airplane, should the unthinkable happen. They perform thorough inspections on various pieces of equipment such as ejection seats, canopies, hatches, modules, subsystems and related support equipment, for safety, security and serviceability.
