AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The 31st Fighter Wing honor guard provides military honors for official military and civilian ceremonies. Members of the honor guard must display exceptional appearance, military bearing and a motivated attitude. To obtain the title of honor guardsman, each member is tested on marching, rifle and flag movements and flawlessly reciting the honor guard charge. The 31 FW honor guard is volunteer based and practices every Wednesday.
