AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Airmen from the 31st Maintenance Squadron transient alert shop are responsible for tearing down, inspecting, repairing and reconstruction of aircraft wheels and tires. Transient alert technicians serve as experts during in-flight emergencies and crash recovery.
