AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- U.S. Air Force firefighters provide fire prevention, hazardous material response, fire-fighting and rescue. They protect people, property and environments from fires and disasters. Firefighters assigned to the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron consistently train to ensure mission readiness.
